What is BPC 157, and what is it used for?
BPC 157 is a man-made peptide fifteen building blocks long, studied in laboratory research on animals and cells. It is not an approved medicine anywhere we know of.
BPC 157 is also listed and searched as BPC 157 peptide, Body Protection Compound 157, BPC157, bpc peptide, pentadecapeptide BPC 157. They all mean the same compound. Supplier lists write it as BPC 157 peptides or peptide BPC 157 as well; every one of those is this record. A name is not a test, which is why the lot record further down counts for more than the wording on a label.
Chemically: molecular formula C62H98N16O22, average mass 1419.5 g/mol (PubChem CID 9941957). Those figures are what the identity test on a certificate is read against.
Frequently mistyped as bpc 175, bcp 157. Those spellings reach this same record.
A man-made fifteen-amino-acid peptide, based on a protein found in stomach juice.
Nobody has settled how it works. Cell and animal studies report effects on blood-vessel growth signals and on several growth-factor pathways, but no single receptor has been pinned down as its target and the studies do not agree on one model.
It appears in animal and cell-culture research on tissue and blood-vessel biology. Almost everything published is animal or cell work.
No FDA-approved product contains BPC 157, and no USP or NF standard defines what an acceptable batch is. Human evidence is close to nonexistent. Any figure printed on a research vial is the supplier’s number, not an official one.

The 10mg vial works out 45% cheaper per mg than the 5mg. Volume tiers are per size and do not combine across sizes (see bulk pricing). Subscribe & Save takes 6% every month, 4% every 2 months or 2% every 3 months off from shipment 2, two shipments minimum, and stacks on the volume tier: the lowest this record ever bills is $4.79 per mg, twenty 10mg vials on a monthly subscription from shipment 2 onward.
Nothing is added at checkout except the USPS shipping you choose; dispatch and delivery are the same on every order. The cost-per-milligram tool ranks the whole catalog by price per mg. The certificate walked through field by field: Where to Buy BPC 157 Peptide: Five Checks Before You Order.
Where to buy BPC 157: what to check before you order from anyone
Where to get BPC 157, and how to buy BPC 157 online
BPC 157 for sale, or BPC 157 peptide for sale, means this page: one record, 2 sizes. You can buy BPC 157 online here with guest checkout, and purchase BPC 157 or order BPC 157 in any size below; verified in-stock orders placed before 12 PM Pacific are dispatched the same day. If the question is where to get BPC 157 or how to get BPC 157, the answer for a US laboratory is a supplier who publishes the certificate before you pay, which is the first of the five checks that follow.
Before ordering BPC 157 from anyone, us included, run the 5 checks on verifying a certificate; the first is that the report resolves on the laboratory's own site, and a seller who cannot pass them is asking for the trust a certificate exists to replace.
BPC 157 reviews
No customer review of BPC 157 has been published yet, so there is no star rating here; when real ones exist the number will be the arithmetic of what people wrote. Ordered this record? Leave a review. A person reads every one before it appears.
BPC 157 capsules, oral form or nasal spray? What this vial is, and is not
Search results for BPC 157 also show capsules, oral form, nasal spray products, under listing titles such as bpc 157 capsules, bpc 157 oral, oral bpc 157, bpc 157 nasal spray, bpc 157 pills, best bpc 157 capsules. Those are finished consumer goods made and marketed by other companies, and none of them is what this page sells. This record is freeze-dried BPC 157 in a sealed glass vial, 5mg and 10mg, with a lot certificate, supplied for laboratory work. Its certificate describes that powder, not a capsule, spray or cream, which carry other ingredients and sit under different rules.

The BPC 157 certificate: lot, purity, identity, and how to verify it
A certificate answers identity, purity and net content as three separate questions, each with the method that produced it and the date it was run, how to read one covers what each field does and does not cover. For BPC 157 that means a mass spectrum landing on 1,419.5 g/mol for C62H98N16O22, the figure published against PubChem CID 9941957. The cataloged form is BPC-157, and the identity test resolves to that rather than to a related molecule with a similar name.
Listings elsewhere describe BPC 157 as an acetate, an arginate salt or an N-acetyl form. Those are different chemical forms with different masses, and a certificate identifies which one was actually tested. The form of the lot on this page is whatever its certificate states; it is not assumed from a listing name, ours included.

Testing by Kovera Labs. Every batch tested on or after October 1, 2026 includes endotoxin, sterility and fentanyl screening, in addition to identity, purity and net content. Open the report, then confirm it on the issuing laboratory's own site. If the identifier does not resolve there, or resolves to a different lot than the one printed on your vial, the document is worthless however convincing it looks.

The lot number on the certificate must match the lot printed on the vial you received. That match is the only thing tying the document to your material. Net content is reported separately from purity, because a vial can be highly pure and still hold less material than its label states.

Is BPC 157 legal? FDA status, and what this listing is
FDA status, and what this listing is Not approved, and its compounding status has moved twice
The FDA put BPC 157 in Category 2 of its 503A bulk drug substances list, the group of substances that may carry significant safety risks, in its update of 29 September 2023. In April 2026 the FDA took it out of Category 2 after the nomination behind it was withdrawn. Coming off Category 2 is not the same as going onto Category 1: it was not added to the list of substances pharmacies may compound, and it is still neither FDA-approved nor covered by a USP/NF standard. BPC-157-related substances went back before the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee on 23 July 2026.
This status is still moving. If it matters to you, check the current 503A bulks list yourself rather than trusting a supplier’s summary, including this one.
Status verified 2026-08-25. Check the primary source before relying on this summary.
Whether BPC 157 is legal depends on what it is being used for and where. It is sold as laboratory material under the research-use restriction below. Being listed is not an approval, and not a claim that it is safe, effective or right for any purpose. LabFirst is not a pharmacy or a compounding facility, this vial is not a compounded medicine, and no prescription is involved, because it is not sold for use in anyone. Sports bodies keep their own prohibited lists; whether a substance is banned in competition is a question for the relevant anti-doping authority, not for a supplier.

BPC 157 research: what the published studies examine
Status: Studied in animals and cells only; nothing approved. BPC 157 is a man-made fifteen-amino-acid peptide with a research record built on animal and cell studies. No FDA-approved product contains it, and there is no official USP/NF standard for it. That second point matters if you are judging suppliers: with no official standard, there is no rulebook saying what an acceptable batch of this substance even is.
The research on BPC 157 keeps coming back to two things: nitric oxide, and a receptor on blood-vessel cells called VEGFR2. In studies on those cells the chain runs VEGFR2, then a signal called Akt, then the enzyme that makes nitric oxide, and more nitric oxide comes out. The odd part is how it reaches the receptor. BPC 157 raises the amount of VEGFR2 and pulls it inside the cell without raising VEGF-A, the molecule that normally triggers it, so the trigger is not what changed.
Two other proteins, Src and caveolin-1, get switched on alongside, and that is the proposed explanation both for the receptor moving inside and for the nitric oxide enzyme being let off a brake that caveolin-1 normally keeps on it.
| Reported observation | Model | Source |
|---|---|---|
| BPC 157 raised the amount of VEGFR2, both the gene activity and the protein itself, and pulled the receptor inside the cell, switching on the Akt and nitric oxide signals downstream, with no rise in VEGF-A. | endothelial cell culture and ischaemic hind-limb model | Hsieh et al., Modulatory effects of BPC 157 on vasomotor tone and the Src-Caveolin-1-eNOS pathway, Scientific Reports (2020) |
| In a stomach-lining injury test, nitric oxide made in the stomach lining was shown to be part of how the compound acts. Later work using a chemical that blocks nitric oxide production (L-NAME) and one that feeds it (L-arginine) supports nitric oxide being involved across several injury models. | rodent gastric lesion assay and related injury models | Sikiric and colleagues, stable gastric pentadecapeptide BPC 157 and the NO system, Current Pharmaceutical Design (2013) |
| A review of the published papers and patents, listing the activity reported across organ systems, and making the point that after three decades of animal and cell work there is no approved formulation, no validated regimen and no completed Phase II trial. | review of the published and patent literature | Jóźwiak et al., Multifunctionality and Possible Medical Application of the BPC 157 Peptide, Pharmaceuticals 18(2):185 (2025) |
Open questions. The blood-vessel-growth mechanism that makes this compound interesting is the same one behind the unresolved question in the literature: what happens in tissue where new vessels are not wanted. It is repeatedly reported to survive stomach acid, which sets it apart from most peptides, but how the human body handles it once absorbed has never been worked out. No Phase II trial has ever been completed.
Each row above describes an observation in the stated model. None of it describes what BPC 157 would do in a person or an animal outside that model, and none of it is a recommendation to use it for anything.
How to store BPC 157: refrigeration and shelf life
Keep the sealed vial cold and out of the light and it stays as it left the lab. Once it is mixed into a solution, how long it holds up depends on the compound, what it was mixed with, how strong the solution is and how cold it is kept — too many variables for anyone to print one shelf life on a label. So laboratories write the date on whatever they prepare and keep their own record of it.
For solution preparation arithmetic on the bench, concentration, per-graduation values and molarity, use the vial concentration calculator, which opens with the BPC 157 sizes stocked here already loaded. It covers laboratory measurement only and contains no administration guidance.
