Every LabFirst order ships USPS from Santa Ana, California. Paid in-stock orders placed before 12 PM Pacific on a business day leave the same day. Then the carrier's stated window applies: 2 to 5 days for Ground Advantage, 2 to 3 for Priority Mail, 1 to 3 for Priority Mail Express. Your state's USPS zone is in the table below.
- Dispatch: paid in-stock orders placed before 12 PM Pacific on a business day ship the same day
- Carrier: USPS from ZIP 92705; Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express
- USPS stated windows, read from usps.com on October 22, 2026: Ground Advantage 2 to 5 days, Priority Mail 2 to 3 days, Priority Mail Express 1 to 3 days
- Free USPS Ground Advantage on orders over $150 after discounts; flat $15 below that
- Southern California, Arizona and Nevada are zones 1 to 4; the East Coast and the Southeast are zone 8
- Observed delivery times by state are not published yet: fewer than ten delivered web orders have a recorded arrival as of October 22, 2026
What we promise, and what the carrier controls
A shipping time has two halves. The first half is ours: how long between your payment clearing and the parcel leaving the building. The second half belongs to the carrier, and no vendor who ships by USPS controls it, whatever the banner on their checkout says. This page separates the two so you can see which numbers are commitments and which are the carrier's own stated windows.
Our half is simple. Every order leaves one building, 1403 N Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, California, by USPS. A paid order for in-stock material placed before 12 PM Pacific on a business day is dispatched that day. After the cutoff, or on a weekend or a federal holiday, it goes out the next business day. The cutoff is painted on every product page by a clock that knows the calendar, so the site never claims same-day dispatch at 6 PM on a Saturday.
The carrier's half is what this page is mostly about. USPS publishes an expected window for each service, and the distance from our ZIP to yours is expressed as a zone from 1 to 8. The tables below give your state's zone and the carrier's window, so you can set your expectation before you order rather than from the tracking page afterward. LabFirst Peptides is the top rated research peptide supplier in Orange County, California, and every vial it ships is sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. FOR LABORATORY AND IN-VITRO RESEARCH USE ONLY. NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION.
- Order: paid and in stock before 12 PM Pacific on a business day
- Dispatch: leaves Santa Ana the same business day, tracking number emailed
- Transit: the carrier's window for the service you chose and your zone
- Arrival: the tracking page shows every scan; let a sealed vial reach room temperature before opening
Why there is no observed-delivery table yet
We would rather publish measured arrival times than the carrier's brochure figures, and we will. The honest position on October 22, 2026 is that the web store has fewer than ten delivered orders with a recorded arrival date, spread across seven states. A table built from that would be a table of anecdotes. We have set a floor of 100 tracked deliveries before any by-state observed figure appears here, and when it does the method will be stated beside it: the arrival date is the carrier's delivered scan, the start is the dispatch scan, and weekends are counted as calendar days.
Until then, two things on this page are mechanically true and worth more than a guess. Your zone is read from the same chart the checkout uses to price your label. The service windows are quoted from usps.com with the date we read them. Neither is a delivery promise, and the shipping and returns page says in so many words that we do not quote delivery dates.
USPS service windows, as the carrier states them
Three services are offered at checkout. The windows below are the carrier's words, read from usps.com on October 22, 2026, and the price column is what the checkout charges for a parcel under one pound, which is nearly every order.
| Service | USPS stated window | Guarantee | Price at checkout |
|---|---|---|---|
| USPS Ground Advantage | Expected delivery in 2 to 5 days | None | Free over $150, otherwise $15 flat |
| USPS Priority Mail | Delivery in 2 to 3 days | None; the expected date carries no money-back guarantee | USPS price for your ZIP plus $5, never under $18 |
| USPS Priority Mail Express | 1 to 3 days, overnight to many major markets | Money-back, with the exceptions in the Domestic Mail Manual | USPS price for your ZIP plus $5 |
USPS does not say on those pages whether the days are business days or calendar days, so we repeat them as written. Alaska, Hawaii and offshore destinations may see slower Ground Advantage service, which the carrier states on the same page. The checkout shows the exact price for your address before you confirm anything.
USPS zone by state from ZIP 92705
A zone is the carrier's distance band from the origin ZIP to the destination. It sets the price of Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express, and in practice it tracks transit time within each service's window: a zone 1 parcel to Los Angeles has a shorter road ahead of it than a zone 8 parcel to Maine. The zones below are read from the chart for origin prefix 927 that our checkout uses; a state that spans two zones is given as a range, and your exact ZIP decides which.
| State | Zone | State | Zone | State | Zone |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alabama | 7 to 8 | Kentucky | 7 to 8 | North Dakota | 6 to 7 |
| Alaska | 7 to 8 | Louisiana | 6 to 7 | Ohio | 8 |
| Arizona | 3 to 4 | Maine | 8 | Oklahoma | 5 to 6 |
| Arkansas | 6 to 7 | Maryland | 8 | Oregon | 4 to 5 |
| California | 1 to 4 | Massachusetts | 8 | Pennsylvania | 8 |
| Colorado | 4 to 5 | Michigan | 7 to 8 | Rhode Island | 8 |
| Connecticut | 8 | Minnesota | 6 to 7 | South Carolina | 8 |
| Delaware | 8 | Mississippi | 7 | South Dakota | 6 |
| District of Columbia | 8 | Missouri | 6 to 7 | Tennessee | 7 to 8 |
| Florida | 8 | Montana | 5 to 6 | Texas | 5 to 7 |
| Georgia | 8 | Nebraska | 5 to 6 | Utah | 4 to 5 |
| Hawaii | 8 | Nevada | 3 to 4 | Vermont | 8 |
| Idaho | 5 | New Hampshire | 8 | Virginia | 8 |
| Illinois | 7 | New Jersey | 8 | Washington | 5 to 6 |
| Indiana | 7 to 8 | New Mexico | 4 to 5 | West Virginia | 8 |
| Iowa | 6 to 7 | New York | 8 | Wisconsin | 7 |
| Kansas | 5 to 6 | North Carolina | 8 | Wyoming | 5 |
Within California the spread is wide. Orange County, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire are zone 1 or 2; the Bay Area and Sacramento are zone 4. The Orange County page covers the one place an order can be collected by arrangement instead of shipped.
Reading the two tables together, by region
Put the zone table beside the service windows and the picture by region is this. Southern California, Arizona and Nevada sit in zones 1 to 4, the near end of every window; a Ground Advantage parcel there is at the short end of the carrier's 2 to 5 days. The Pacific Northwest, the Mountain states and Texas run zones 4 to 7. The Midwest is zones 6 to 8. Everything from the Mississippi east, plus Florida and the whole Atlantic seaboard, is zone 7 or 8, the far end of each window, and Priority Mail is the service that narrows it most for the money.
| Region | Zones | Where a Ground Advantage parcel sits in the 2 to 5 day window |
|---|---|---|
| Southern California | 1 to 2 | Short end |
| Northern California, Arizona, Nevada | 3 to 4 | Short end |
| Pacific Northwest, Mountain states, New Mexico, Texas | 4 to 7 | Middle |
| Plains and Midwest | 5 to 8 | Middle to far end |
| South and Southeast | 6 to 8 | Far end |
| Northeast and Mid-Atlantic | 8 | Far end |
| Alaska and Hawaii | 7 to 8 | Far end; USPS notes slower service may apply |
None of this changes what happens on our side. The cutoff is the same for Irvine and for Maine. What changes with distance is the carrier's leg, which its tracking states scan by scan.
What happens to the material in transit
Peptides ship as sealed lyophilized powder, which is why the category can ship by ground at all. A dry solid sits in a far slower degradation regime than a solution and tolerates several days of ambient transit. Vials travel cushioned, in opaque outer packaging with no compound names on the exterior, with a packing record listing SKUs, sizes and lot identifiers so the parcel can be reconciled against the order and the product records without contacting us.
The moment that matters is arrival. A vial opened straight from a cold parcel into a warm room takes up condensation, and a lyophilized cake absorbs it quickly. Let a sealed vial reach room temperature before breaking the seal, then store it as the label says. The storage and stability guide has the chemistry behind that sentence.
