What the review checks

Every guide is read against its own sources before it is published. A number has to trace to the record it cites, whether that is a certificate, a paper or a regulatory notice. A statement about what a compound is studied for has to match what the cited work actually investigated, which is a narrower thing than what gets repeated about it. And anything that drifts into dosing, administration or what a compound does for a person comes out, because that is outside what this site is for.

When a guide changes after publication the Updated date on it changes too, so the date means the last time somebody looked at the page, not the day it first went up.

What the review does not do

It does not test material. Identity, purity and net content come from the issuing laboratory, per lot, and the Verify a COA page shows how to check a certificate at the laboratory yourself without taking our word for it. It does not make a guide clinical advice either. The review keeps the writing accurate and inside the research-use boundary set out on the compliance page.
