The lot number is printed on every vial from this lot, so the vial in front of you can be matched to this page and to the report without taking anyone's word for it. A certificate for a different lot, however good, says nothing about this material; that is why each lot gets its own page rather than a representative one.
How to read these three numbers
Identity answers whether the vial holds the compound named on the label. Kovera Labs ran it by LC-MS: the instrument measures the molecular mass of what is in the vial and compares it with the mass Melanotan II should have. The result for this lot reads Conforms (Melanotan-2).
Purity answers what share of the material is the target peptide rather than something else. It was measured by RP-HPLC, C18, DAD @ 214 nm and came back at 99.746%. Purity is not identity: a vial can be 99% one substance and still be the wrong substance, which is why both tests appear here.
Net content answers how many milligrams of peptide are actually in the vial, as distinct from the gross fill. A freeze-dried solid is peptide plus counterion plus residual water, so this number and the label claim are different things. For lot LF-17A-2609 the measured figure is 10.92 mg (labeled 10 mg).
Verify it without trusting us
- Open the lab's own page. The verify button above goes to Kovera Labs's site, not ours, under reference KVR-2026-650868 (access code M3IUFKW). Type the address yourself if you prefer.
- Match the lot number on the lab's record to the one printed on your vial: LF-17A-2609.
- Compare the figures on the lab's record with the ones on this page. They should be identical; if they are not, trust the laboratory's copy and tell us.
- Check who the report was written for. The laboratory names the party that commissioned the test. It should be LabFirst Peptides.
The full procedure, and what each measurement can and cannot tell you, is on the Verify a COA page. Every other certified lot is listed there too.
