GHRP-6 is sold here for laboratory research, in 2 sizes (5mg to 10mg), starting at $45.00 a vial. Every batch arrives with a certificate naming the test that identified it, the test that measured its purity, and the date each was run. It is not an FDA-approved medicine. Research use only, and never for people or animals.

What is GHRP-6?
GHRP-6 is also listed and searched as GHRP 6 peptide, GHRP-6 acetate. They all mean the same compound. Supplier lists write it as GHRP-6 peptides or peptide GHRP-6 as well; every one of those is this record. A name is not a test, which is why the lot record further down counts for more than the wording on a label.
Chemically: molecular formula C46H56N12O6, average mass 873 g/mol (PubChem CID 4345065). Those figures are what the identity test on a certificate is read against.
Synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue.
Agonist at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a), the ghrelin receptor, acting at pituitary and hypothalamus. Not selective for growth hormone release: it also stimulates ACTH, cortisol and prolactin.
Appears in the growth hormone secretagogue literature of the 1980s and 1990s, and as the reference comparator against which later secretagogues were characterised. Also studied as a pharmacological tool for the ghrelin receptor.
No approved product. The compound was not developed to market, and the non-selectivity that limited it is a property of the molecule rather than a formulation problem.
GHRP-6 for sale: 5mg and 10mg vials, price per mg
GHRP-6 cost, and GHRP-6 price per mg by size
GHRP-6 is sold in 2 sizes here, 5mg and 10mg, from $45.00 a vial. GHRP-6 cost starts at that figure for the smallest vial, and the GHRP-6 price per mg in the second column is the number to compare between sizes. The per-mg column is the honest comparison between sizes; the two tier columns show what ten and twenty vials of one size bill at, because the volume discount is per size and mixed sizes do not combine.
| Size | One vial | Per mg | 10 vials −10% | 20 vials −15% | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GHRP-6 5mg | $45.00 | $9.00 | $405.00$8.10/mg | $765.00$7.65/mg | Backordered — waitlist |
| GHRP-6 10mg | $75.00 | $7.50 | $675.00$6.75/mg | $1,275.00$6.38/mg | Backordered — waitlist |
GHRP-6 discounts: bulk pricing, Subscribe & Save, and codes
Three things move this price and nothing else does: how many vials of one size are on the order, whether that order repeats, and one code. The fourth column prices each route against the 5mg vial.
| Buying option | Takes off | When it applies | 5mg at this option |
|---|---|---|---|
| One vial, one time | — | Any order | $45.00 |
| 10–19 vials of one size | 10% | This order | $405.00$40.50 a vial |
| 20 vials of one size | 15% | This order | $765.00$38.25 a vial |
| Subscribe, every 1 month | 6% | Shipment 2 onward | First $45.00, then $42.30 |
| Subscribe, every 2 months | 4% | Shipment 2 onward | First $45.00, then $43.20 |
| Subscribe, every 3 months | 2% | Shipment 2 onward | First $45.00, then $44.10 |
| 10 vials on a monthly subscription | 10%, then 6% more | Shipment 2 onward | First $405.00, then $380.70 |
| Sign-up code | 10% of the order | One use, dead 24 hours after signup | $40.50 for one vial |
| Friday newsletter code | 5% of the order | Live 24 hours, a new one each Friday | $42.75 for one vial |
| On-site offer code | 5% of the order | Live 30 minutes from when it appears | $42.75 for one vial |
| Free standard shipping | The shipping charge | Orders over $200 | 5 vials |
The first three stack; the codes do not. A volume discount comes off the line, a subscription cadence comes off that same line from shipment 2, and one code comes off what is left. One code per order, never two. A subscription runs a minimum of two shipments and can be cancelled once the second has shipped, and the first shipment always bills at today's eligible price with no cadence discount on it. The lowest this record ever bills is $7.19 per mg: twenty 5mg vials on a monthly subscription, from shipment 2 onward.
Every figure above is what you pay; nothing is added at checkout — dispatch and delivery work the same on every order.
Where to buy GHRP-6: five checks before you order from anyone
Where to get GHRP-6, and how to buy GHRP-6 online
GHRP-6 for sale, or GHRP-6 peptide for sale, means this page: one record, 2 sizes, a lot certificate for each. You can buy GHRP-6 online here with guest checkout, and purchase GHRP-6 or order GHRP-6 in any size below; verified in-stock orders placed before 12 PM Pacific are dispatched the same day. If the question is where to get GHRP-6 or how to get GHRP-6, the answer for a US laboratory is a supplier who publishes the certificate before you pay, which is the first of the five checks below.
Run these on us too. A supplier who cannot pass them is asking you to take their word for it, and their word is the one thing a certificate exists to replace.
- Check the certificate on the lab’s own site, not ours.
- See whether it was written for the seller.
- Match the lot number on the paper to the one on the vial.
- Look for a method and a date next to every number.
- Make sure identity was tested, not assumed.
Each of those is worked through, with what a failed check actually looks like, on verifying a certificate.
GHRP-6 capsules, oral form or nasal spray? What this vial is, and is not
Search results for GHRP-6 also show capsules, oral form, nasal spray products, under listing titles such as ghrp 6 oral, ghrp-6 tablets, buy ghrp-6 single vial peptide, ghrp 6 5mg vial, ghrp 6 capsule, ghrp 6 nasal spray. Those are finished consumer goods made and marketed by other companies, and none of them is what this page sells. This record is freeze-dried GHRP-6 in a sealed glass vial, 5mg and 10mg, with a lot certificate, supplied for laboratory work.
The difference matters for the paperwork. A certificate on this page describes the powder in the vial: identity, purity and net content for one lot. It says nothing about a capsule, a spray or a cream, which carry other ingredients and sit under different rules. When a listing elsewhere borrows a lot report to vouch for a different product form, the report does not describe what is being sold.
GHRP-6 vs GHRP-2 and CJC-1295 (no DAC): different molecules, separate records
GHRP-6 vs GHRP-2, or GHRP-2 vs GHRP-6, is the comparison people search most, with CJC-1295 (no DAC) close behind, and they are not the same thing. Each is a different molecule with a different formula, mass and research record, and each has its own certificate here. Cjc-1295 ghrp-6 blend is searched too; no such blend is sold here, each is its own record with its own certificate, and a certificate for a blend from anyone else reports on the mixture, not on either compound alone.

The GHRP-6 certificate: lot, purity, identity, and how to verify it
A certificate answers identity, purity and net content as three separate questions, each with the method that produced it and the date it was run — how to read one covers what each field does and does not cover. For GHRP-6 that means a mass spectrum landing on 873 g/mol for C46H56N12O6, the figure published against PubChem CID 4345065.
Listings elsewhere describe GHRP-6 as an acetate, an arginate salt or an N-acetyl form. Those are different chemical forms with different masses, and a certificate identifies which one was actually tested. The form of the lot on this page is whatever its certificate states; it is not assumed from a listing name, ours included.
The certificate below belongs to one lot, and its number matches the one printed on the vial you receive. A real report for a different batch is still the wrong report.
| Size | Lot | Identity method | Purity | Test date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5mg | Pending verification | Pending verification | Pending verification | Pending verification |
| 10mg | Pending verification | Pending verification | Pending verification | Pending verification |
No lot documentation is published for GHRP-6 yet. Rather than display a placeholder certificate, this record shows the gap until each field has been verified against the lot in hand. The certificate index lists every lot the moment its report clears.

Is GHRP-6 a prescription drug? FDA status, and what this listing is
The FDA has not approved this compound for anything, and nothing in this catalogue is a medicine. Where a compound stands legally depends on what it is, what form it is in, what it is being used for and which country you are in, and it changes over time, so the status shown here carries the date it was last checked.
Status verified 2026-08-25. Regulatory positions move; check the primary source before relying on any summary, including this one.
It is sold here as laboratory material under the research-use restriction that closes this page, which is not an approval, and not a statement that the compound is safe, effective or right for any purpose. LabFirst is not a pharmacy or a compounding facility, this vial is not a compounded medicine, and no prescription is involved, because it is not sold for use in anyone.
GHRP-6 research: what the published studies examine
Status: No FDA-approved application. This compound is sold as laboratory material. Where research on it has been published, it sits at the animal, cell or early-human stage, and this record does not summarise what it found. A supplier is not a neutral judge of evidence about its own catalogue.
GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide and the historically important member of the growth hormone releasing peptide series — it is the compound against which most later secretagogues, ipamorelin included, were benchmarked. It acts at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor — the same receptor ghrelin binds — rather than at the GHRH receptor, so it belongs to a different arm of the growth hormone axis than sermorelin or tesamorelin.
The defining limitation of the older GHRP series, and the reason ipamorelin was subsequently developed, is selectivity: these compounds release growth hormone but also raise ACTH and cortisol, and they raise prolactin. That is receptor pharmacology acting where the receptor is expressed, not an impurity problem, and it cannot be formulated away.
Its scientific significance is larger than its commercial one: the search for the receptor these synthetic peptides were acting on led directly to the cloning of GHS-R1a in 1996, and to the identification of its natural ligand ghrelin in 1999. GHRP-6 is, in that sense, the tool that found a hormone.
| Reported observation | Model | Source |
|---|---|---|
| The receptor targeted by the synthetic growth hormone secretagogues was cloned from pituitary and from arcuate ventromedial and infundibular hypothalamus of swine and humans, and characterised as a G-protein-coupled receptor. The authors concluded the secretagogues mimic an undiscovered hormone — a prediction confirmed three years later with the identification of ghrelin. | receptor cloning and pharmacological characterisation, swine and human tissue | Howard and colleagues, A receptor in pituitary and hypothalamus that functions in growth hormone release, Science (1996) |
| In a direct comparison, ipamorelin released growth hormone from primary rat pituitary cells with potency and efficacy similar to GHRP-6 (EC50 2.2 nM for GHRP-6). In conscious swine, GHRP-6 and GHRP-2 both raised ACTH and cortisol while ipamorelin did not, at doses more than 200-fold above the ED50 for growth hormone release. None of the secretagogues tested altered FSH, LH, prolactin or TSH in that swine model. | primary rat pituitary cells, anaesthetised rats and conscious swine | Raun and colleagues, Ipamorelin, the first selective growth hormone secretagogue, European Journal of Endocrinology (1998)The paper that defined GHRP-6's limitation. It is cited here for what it reports about GHRP-6, not about ipamorelin. |
Open questions. The receptor pharmacology is settled and the historical importance is real. What a buyer should weigh is that GHRP-6 was superseded rather than adopted: the ACTH and cortisol rise it produces is the specific problem later compounds in the class were designed to avoid, and it is intrinsic to the molecule. There is no approved product, no modern safety record, and no pharmacopoeial reference standard. Most of the primary work is from the 1980s and 1990s.
Note also that this class stimulates the pituitary rather than supplying growth hormone, so any effect depends on pituitary responsiveness, which is not constant across conditions.
Each row above describes an observation in the stated model. None of it describes what GHRP-6 would do in a person or an animal outside that model, and none of it is a recommendation to use it for anything.
