What is PTD-DBM?
PTD-DBM is also listed and searched as PTD-DBM peptide. They all mean the same compound. Supplier lists write it as peptide PTD-DBM as well; every one of those is this record. A name is not a test, which is why the lot record further down counts for more than the wording on a label.
Chemically: molecular formula C124H225N61O28S2, average mass 3082.6 g/mol (PubChem CID 176453931). Those figures are what the identity test on a certificate is read against.
Fusion peptide: a protein transduction domain joined to the Dishevelled-binding motif — a competitor peptide designed to block a specific protein-protein interaction.
CXXC5 is a negative feedback regulator of Wnt/beta-catenin signalling that acts by binding the Dishevelled protein. PTD-DBM is a competitor peptide that disrupts the CXXC5-Dishevelled interaction, releasing that brake and activating beta-catenin signalling. The protein transduction domain is what carries it into cells.
Cutaneous wound healing in mouse models and in cultured keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts, from the laboratory that identified CXXC5's role.
No human data, no approved product. Effects were demonstrated in combination with a GSK3-beta inhibitor as much as alone.
PTD-DBM for sale: 1mg vials, price per mg
PTD-DBM is sold in 1 size here, 1mg, from $60.00 a vial. PTD-DBM cost and PTD-DBM price per mg by size are in the table, at each volume tier and on subscription; the per-mg figure under each price is the one that compares across sizes.
Volume and subscription pricing by size
| Size | One vial | 10–19 vials−10% | 20 vials−15% | Subscribe monthly−6% from shipment 2 | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PTD-DBM 1mg | $60.00$60.00/mg | $54.00a vial · $54.00/mg | $51.00a vial · $51.00/mg | $56.40a vial, shipment 2 on · $56.40/mg | Backordered — waitlist |
Volume tiers are per size and do not combine across sizes (see bulk pricing). Subscribe & Save takes 6% every month, 4% every 2 months or 2% every 3 months off from shipment 2, two shipments minimum, and stacks on the volume tier: the lowest this record ever bills is $47.94 per mg, twenty 1mg vials on a monthly subscription from shipment 2 onward.
Nothing is added at checkout except the USPS shipping you choose; dispatch and delivery are the same on every order. The cost-per-milligram tool ranks the whole catalog by price per mg.
Where to buy PTD-DBM: what to check before you order from anyone
PTD-DBM for sale, or PTD-DBM peptide for sale, means this page: one record, 1 size. You can buy PTD-DBM online here with guest checkout; verified in-stock orders placed before 12 PM Pacific are dispatched the same day.
Before ordering PTD-DBM from anyone, us included, run the 5 checks on verifying a certificate; the first is that the report resolves on the laboratory's own site, and a seller who cannot pass them is asking for the trust a certificate exists to replace.
PTD-DBM reviews
No customer review of PTD-DBM has been published yet, so there is no star rating here; when real ones exist the number will be the arithmetic of what people wrote. Ordered this record? Leave a review. A person reads every one before it appears.
The PTD-DBM certificate: lot, purity, identity, and how to verify it
A certificate answers identity, purity and net content as three separate questions, each with the method that produced it and the date it was run, how to read one covers what each field does and does not cover. For PTD-DBM that means a mass spectrum landing on 3,082.6 g/mol for C124H225N61O28S2, the figure published against PubChem CID 176453931.
PTD-DBM certificates post here and in the certificate index when Kovera Labs reports on the lot.

PTD-DBM research: what the published studies examine
Status: No FDA-approved application. This compound is sold as laboratory material. Where research on it has been published, it sits at the animal, cell or early-human stage, and this record does not summarize what it found. A supplier is not a neutral judge of evidence about its own catalog.
PTD-DBM is a designed protein-protein interaction blocker rather than a receptor ligand, and understanding it requires one step of indirection. Wnt/beta-catenin signalling drives aspects of skin repair, and CXXC5 is a negative feedback regulator of that pathway which works by binding Dishevelled, a component of Wnt signal transduction. PTD-DBM carries the Dishevelled-binding motif itself, so it competes with CXXC5 for that interaction; blocking the brake activates the pathway.
The protein transduction domain is the delivery half — the motif has an intracellular target, so something has to get it across the membrane. The mechanism is therefore two removes from an effect: block a regulator, release a pathway, and the pathway does the work.
| Reported observation | Model | Source |
|---|---|---|
| CXXC5 was identified as a negative feedback regulator of Wnt/beta-catenin signalling acting through interaction with Dishevelled, with reduced CXXC5 protein in epidermal keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts of human acute wounds. CXXC5-knockout mice showed accelerated cutaneous wound healing with enhanced keratin 14 and collagen synthesis. PTD-DBM, the competitor peptide blocking CXXC5-Dishevelled interaction, disrupted the negative feedback loop and activated beta-catenin and collagen production in vitro. Co-treatment of skin wounds with PTD-DBM and valproic acid, a GSK3-beta inhibitor, synergistically accelerated healing in mice. | human wound tissue, cultured keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts, CXXC5-knockout and wild-type mice | Lee and colleagues, The Dishevelled-binding protein CXXC5 negatively regulates cutaneous wound healing, Journal of Experimental Medicine (2015)Yonsei University. Note the in vivo acceleration is reported for PTD-DBM CO-TREATED with valproic acid, described as synergistic — not for the peptide alone. |
Open questions. Read the in vivo result carefully: the accelerated wound healing in mice was produced by PTD-DBM together with valproic acid, and the authors describe the combination as synergistic. The peptide's own contribution separate from the GSK3-beta inhibitor is not established by that experiment, and summaries of this compound routinely drop the second agent. Beyond that, the work is from a single laboratory, there are no human data and no approved product.
One mechanistic caution deserves stating: Wnt/beta-catenin is a fundamental developmental and proliferative pathway active well beyond skin, and pharmacologically removing one of its negative regulators is a blunt intervention — sustained pathway activation is implicated in tumorigenesis in several tissues, which is exactly why the therapeutic interest here is in topical and local application rather than systemic.
Each row above describes an observation in the stated model. None of it describes what PTD-DBM would do in a person or an animal outside that model, and none of it is a recommendation to use it for anything.
How to store PTD-DBM: refrigeration and shelf life
Keep the sealed vial cold and out of the light and it stays as it left the lab. Once it is mixed into a solution, how long it holds up depends on the compound, what it was mixed with, how strong the solution is and how cold it is kept — too many variables for anyone to print one shelf life on a label. So laboratories write the date on whatever they prepare and keep their own record of it.
For solution preparation arithmetic on the bench, concentration, per-graduation values and molarity, use the vial concentration calculator, which opens with the PTD-DBM sizes stocked here already loaded. It covers laboratory measurement only and contains no administration guidance.
